Come meet the filmmakers and start planning your schedule for the weekend while enjoying complimentary Stella Artois beer and Charles Smith wines. Stop by and party before or after one of our four official Opening Night feature films and two shorts programs!

After a night of stellar films relax, unwind, and talk to filmmakers and guests at Fassler Hall. With ample seating indoor and out, a wide selection of beers, and half price house-made sausages, the Opening Night After Party is a great way to cap off Night One of deadCenter.

After the movies have ended, join 405 Magazine and Dunlap Codding for a raucous dance-a-thon fueled by delicious Stella Artois, Charles Smith Wines, and Svedka Vodka.
Eight-time Emmy Award-winning casting director (Homeland, Desperate Housewives, NYPD Blue) and Oklahoma City native Junie Lowry-Johnson will talk shop with fellow Oklahoma Film ICON, actor, and casting director Chris Freihofer (Breaking Bad), to illuminate the role of the casting director in developing a film or television show.
Oklahoma City native and Oklahoma Film ICON Mike Mitchell, director of Shrek Forever After, Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked, and The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water, will pull back the curtain to explore how animated feature films are made, with a focus on his most recent smash hit, Trolls. A screening of Trolls will immediately follow, along with a Q&A hosted by former Oklahoma film commissioner Bud Elder.
